The aim of this article is to present connections between eroticism and emotional realm with a particular focus on shame and disgust. The base for this speculation is the concept of eroticism conceived by G. Bataille, enriched by(post)modern thought and by sociology of emotion. Affects and feelings may be treated as components of definition of eroticism and as factors which determine eroticism in social and cultural reality. Transgressions which are integrally connected to emotions locate eroticism between public and intimate space, make eroticism a tool which change the social order and define it with a specific postmodern quality.
